Ham with Tradition meets Salt with Tradition
Since 2022, we have had the privilege of supplying Berger Ham directly with our GUSTOSAL table and nitrite curing salts. Reason enough to pay a visit to this traditional company on the edge of the Vienna Woods.
It all began in 1890 when Michael Berger opened his first butcher shop in Sieghartskirchen, Lower Austria. The quality of his products soon became so convincing that they were awarded gold at culinary exhibitions in Vienna and Paris.
The commitment to their own products and consequently to the suppliers of the raw ingredients has remained unchanged - and has become the essential driving force and key to success for this Austrian traditional company, now run by the 4th generation ("The 5th generation is just entering!").
