SALTECH high-purity salts for industry and business, including water softening
Due to its complete solubility, very good pourability and high purity SALTECH salt is an indispensable basic substance used to manufacture a wide range of industrial products. Industrial salt is among others an additiv in the chemical industry and is used for the production of chlorine as well as caustic soda. It is employed in the production of glass, paper, plastics and metal, as a dyeing salt in the textile industry, as well as to create soaps and washing detergents etc. SALTECH industrial salt is offered fine- or coarse-grained.
Moreover SALTECH industrial salt & salt tablets is used for water softening. Water contains lime. When used on a daily basis in business, industry as well as the household, it leaves behind lime deposits that may lead to higher energy and maintenance costs, and even to serious damage. Through the use of water softening equipment, ion exchangers remove the calcium and magnesium ions, replacing them with sodium ions, resulting in soft water. Soft water reduces energy and maintenance costs and veritable damages can be avoided. Installations, machinery and household devices are protected for long life.
SALTECH industrial salt and salt tablets comply with EN 973 Type A for the softening of water for human use and additionally:
- Industrial salt: EN 14805 : 2022 type 1
- Salt tablets rounds: EN 14805:2022 type 1, EN 16401:2013 type A, EN 16370:2022 type 2 and biocidal products regulation (EC) No. 528/2012.
- Salt tablets cusions: EN 14805:2022 type 1 and biocidal products regulation (EC) No. 528/2012.
For the environment: we use packaging with at least 45% recycled content for our SALTECH products.
